K & N Spring Gully Brass congratulates Mark Smith (Flugel) winning this years Senior Section.

Dr Boyle is currently Associate Head of the School of Management at the University of South Australia and Program Director of the Master of Management (Arts and Cultural Management).

The Kensington & Norwood City Band Inc. wishes to advise that its 2008 Annual General Meeting will be held on Monday 8th September, 8.00pm. The venue for the meeting will be the Band Room – Beulah Road Norwood.

In accordance with the Band Constitution, we are calling for nominations for the following Committee positions:

South Australian State Band Championships 2008

K & N Spring Gully Brass are once again on top of banding in South Australia with their success at this years South Australian State Band Championships.

K & N Spring Gully Brass under the musical direction of Bruce Raymond received a 1st placing in the competitive A Grade Competition. K & N received 188 points, Hawthorn Brass (Vic) 185 points and last years winners Tanunda Town Band 180 points.

K & N Spring Gully Youth Brass under the musical direction of Sarah Butler enjoyed success in the D Grade Competition. The Youth Brass had to play well, to beat a much improved Campbelltown City Band.

This years State Band Championships were held at Elder Hall, Adelaide University.
