Proud History

K & N Spring Gully Brass has a long proud history of supporting the youth band as a feeder for the senior band. As members of the South Australian Band Association this arrangement encompasses the aims & objectives of the Association in promoting and nurturing banding, encouraging growth and prosperity.

K & N’s Youth Brass currently consists of 40 registered players between the ages of 7 and 18. The average age is 13 years.

Sarah Butler is the new Musical Director of K & N Spring Gully Youth Brass.

Youth Brass

K & N Youth Brass can be heard playing a wide variety of music ranging from traditional to contemporary hits and movie themes. This helps to make learning fun for the players and enjoyable for the audience. There are regular concerts in public to showcase the talent of the players & broaden their experiences. These performances have included Fantasy by the Sea at Semaphore, the Adelaide Botanic Gardens, and the Adelaide Convention Centre. Concerts have been held at the City of Burnside Ballroom, Norwood Concert Hall and Flinders St Baptist Church.
